Bolt tension calibration

Bolt tightening of bolted structural steel connections and bolt tension as per project specifications / client requirements. The calibrator is used to measure fastener tension in a wide variety of application including but not limited to:

Calibration of tightening tools, pre-installation verification, rotational capacity tests and other fastener tests.
Fastener elements that can be tested include: hex bolts, threaded studs, tension control (TC) bolts, direct tension indicating (DTI) washers, anchor bolts, lock nuts, etc.

Dilapidation and Condition Surveys

Dilapidation and condition surveys are non-destructive, visual inspections of a building, providing clients with a comprehensive understanding of the current asset condition and its ability to perform its required functions.

As-built arrangements and systems – including building structure, MEP, Fire and Life Safety, façade, civil and electrical components – are compared to as built information assets and design documentation to identify building defects or discrepancies.

The results of dilapidation and condition surveys are used by clients to inform and predict short-term plus long-term maintenance requirements, as well as helping to plan lifecycle replacements of building components.

A dilapidation and condition survey is essential to set a baseline prior to any major building refurbishment. AB Global condition surveys are undertaken in accordance with International standards.
